Job Title: VP, Data, Automation, Architect

Canada Goose is seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP, Data, Automation, Architect to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data architecture strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a data architecture strategy that supports business growth and innovation
  • Lead a team of data architects and engineers to design and implement data solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, security, and compliance
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data architecture and engineering
  • Develop and maintain technical standards and best practices for data architecture and engineering

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in data architecture and engineering, including team leadership
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
  • Strong understanding of data risk, data governance, and data as a product
  • Experience with data security, including PHI and PII, and data privacy regulations (CCPA and GDPR)
  • Proficient in designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models
  • Experience with modern cloud and reporting tooling (AWS, GCP, Azure, PowerBI, Looker, Domo, etc.)
