Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Character Artist to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our art team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality character models, textures, and animations for our games.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with art directors, producers, and technical artists to develop character concepts and designs.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality character models, textures, and animations.
  • Work closely with engineers to ensure seamless integration of character assets into the game.
  • Lead internal and external teams to achieve project goals and deadlines.
  • Mentor junior artists to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Provide feedback and critiques to team members to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in character art and animation.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in character art and animation.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing realistic character art and animation skills.
  • Proficiency in Maya, Photoshop, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Marvelous Designer.
  • Experience working with diverse teams and collaborating with engineers.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard tools, workflows, and techniques.
  • Expert understanding of human anatomy, clothing construction, and topology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
