We are seeking an experienced Architect to join our team at Corpay. As an Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of our organization and ensuring that our systems and solutions meet the needs of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with business and technology teams to understand and define future roadmaps and create platform architecture that enables business and technology vision and goals.
- Implement the technical strategy and IT reference architectures to guide the successful delivery of Maintenance domain IT solutions.
- Develop and drive adoption of technology standards and architecture patterns across the organization.
- Keep on top of wider potential technologies and approaches to address current and future technology needs, and assist in the evaluation of their applicability and fit.
- Manage solution architecture colleagues, coach and mentor members of the IT teams to provide technical oversight.
- Build effective relationships with business and key technical resources to influence technology solutions.
- Provide technical evaluation of proposed project ideas, software changes and future product releases.
- Understand and help address risk, privacy, cybersecurity and legal constraints on data.
- Participate in technical due diligence and decisions for future M&A activities.
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in architecture roles for mid-sized to large enterprises.
- 3 - 5 years of enterprise architecture experience.
- Have a systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem solving with demonstrable verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to create detailed documents and present to steering committee or key stakeholders.
- Demonstrable examples of leading software design and architecture.
- Deep knowledge of platform architecture concepts, best practices, objectives, and processes.
- Experience with Agile software development preferably with an onshore-offshore model.
- Collaborative working style with the ability to build relationships across multiple functions and geographies.
- Experience with cloud architectures. AWS experience a plus.
- Proven technical leadership experience in delivery of IT projects.
- Experience with architecting systems in a regulatory, corporate reporting or similar environment. PCI DSS and financial services a plus.
- Proven initiative to build relationships, learn new technologies and seek opportunities.
We offer a competitive salary range of $175,000 - $190,000 CAD annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
