You will also be responsible for training new employees in role-specific tasks, ensuring quality control and safety standards are adhered to, and conducting ongoing safety training and hazard assessments as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate production teams and daily organization of crew tasks
  • Train new employees in role-specific tasks
  • Ensure quality control and safety standards are adhered to
  • Conduct ongoing safety training and hazard assessments as needed
  • Demonstrate and initiate continuous improvement activities and work habits
  • Be the first point of contact for employee concerns and needs and redirect as needed

Requirements:

  • Experience in production assembly preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Leadership experience at a working Lead Hand level
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to train, mentor, and coach others
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes including safety and quality standards
