The RoleWe are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst in Ontario, Canada, specializing in the Finance domain. The ideal candidate will boast at least 5 years of hands-on experience in finance, proficiency in both English and French, and a proven track record of excelling in a consultant role.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define project requirements.
- Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and user needs to identify solutions and improvements.
- Create and maintain detailed functional and non-functional requirement documents, user stories, and use cases.
- Translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between business requirements and current systems.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements and timely issue resolution.
- Participate in design and architecture discussions, offering insights to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Perform quality assurance testing to validate that the software meets specified requirements and functions as intended.
- Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience within finance.
- Minimum 5 years in one or more of the following industries: Manufacturing; Energy & Utilities; Service Sector; Construction & Engineering; Shipping & Harbour Services; Aviation & Defence.
- Minimum 3 years in client-facing roles.
- Experience in ERP implementation or upgrade projects.
- Experience with IFS.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience with project management software tools.
- 50% availability for travel, including authorization to travel to the US and internationally.
- Legally entitled to work in the country you are applying for.
