We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to join our team at Royal Inland Hospital. This relief full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, providing consultation services to healthcare professionals and organizations.

About the Role:

  • This is a Relief Full-Time (1.00 FTE) position working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00.
  • The position provides coverage until the return of the incumbent.

Job Description:

This Clinical Pharmacy Specialist will develop, plan, organize, and evaluate clinical programs, quality assurance activities, administrative support, teaching, and research activities in the assigned pharmacotherapy practice area, Cardiology.

In this role, you will provide pharmaceutical care to patients, support departmental and regional pharmacy initiatives, and collaborate with local and regional pharmacy leaders, physicians, and nursing leaders to achieve overall goals and objectives.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this position is $53,310 - $66,630 per year, based on the location and job requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current registration as a pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
  • Certification of completion of an accredited Hospital Pharmacy Residency program
  • Doctorate in Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or postgraduate degree in clinical pharmacy from a recognized university program and at least 3 years recent hospital pharmacy experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, knowledge, and experience
