Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Saminder Bhalesar. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personal care and support to clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in activities and conversations.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring clients' needs are met.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and lifting.
Work Environment:

Our clients' homes are non-smoking environments, and you will be required to maintain a safe and healthy workspace.

Language:

The primary language spoken in this role is English.

Work Hours:

This is a permanent position, with a regular schedule of 30-40 hours per week.
