Blockchain Software Developer

Blockchain Works is a cutting-edge technology company that specializes in building high-performance, EVM-compatible, Layer 1 blockchains using the Cosmos SDK. Our team of experts in computer science, type theory, economic game theory, risk management, and enterprise development is passionate about designing sustainable economic and blockchain systems. We're well-funded by leading digital asset investors, hedge funds, centralized exchange venture arms, and strategic angels.
Job Requirements- 3+ years of experience in software development and relevant experience in blockchain technologies.
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Significant experience in writing Golang programs with a good understanding of best practices, concurrency primitives, packages, and reflection.
- Experience with the Cosmos SDK, Tendermint, and other blockchain technologies.
- Familiarity with blockchain concepts, smart contracts, governance, wallet transactions, and Cosmos SDK.
- Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, including networking, storage, operating systems, data structures, transpilers, and compilers.
- Experience in an agile development environment.
- Knowledge of the UNIX network stack, including TCP/IP.
- Experience with gRPC and git.
- Experience in creating microservices for systems like Kubernetes, Ansible, Docker, and Terraform.
- Interest in proof-of-stake, consensus algorithms, decentralized exchanges, public-key cryptography, and other blockchain-related topics.
- Experience in setting up and working with CI systems.
- Past contributions to the Cosmos-SDK and/or Tendermint Core.
- Passion for blockchain, experience with DeFi apps, and a belief in the potential of decentralization and blockchains to transform the financial world.
- Write high-quality, well-tested Golang code, following the latest design and development patterns.
- Participate in the design, development, and implementation of the core Berachain economic system.
- Explore Cosmos SDK projects and other projects built on the Cosmos platform.
- Create tools for load testing and protocol benchmarking.
- Research, design, scope, and estimate projects.
- Continuously improve skills by staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
