Lead Systems Architect Job Description:

The Lead Systems Architect is responsible for directing architectural solutions that respond to changing challenges and ensure seamless integration and performance across diverse missile defense components. This position requires collaboration with high-level technical personnel within the Missile Defense Sector and the Department of Defense, delivering technical insights, and playing a key role in strategic proposals and business growth. Furthermore, the architect maintains an in-depth awareness of current challenges, technological progress, and strategic research to enhance system architecture and client interactions. The Lead Systems Architect consistently identifies and champions the introduction of innovative technology initiatives to address shifting business requirements.

  • Architecture Development:
    - Develop progressive reference architectures for organizations embracing new technological solutions.
    - Offer consulting expertise on architectural strategies based on best practices.
  • Digital Transformation:
    - Aid in establishing preferred vendors for the implementation of reference architectures.
  • Center of Excellence Development:
    - Support the formation of Enterprise Architecture, IoT, and Software Development centers of excellence.
  • Leadership and Management:
    - Lead the Architecture Center of Excellence team and oversee direct reports such as Cloud Architect, Data Architect, and IoT Architect.
  • Digital Roadmap Contribution:
    - Propel the digital transformation roadmaps and execution strategies at HQ.
  • Research and Innovation:
    - Assess emerging technologies to boost operational efficiency and minimize expenses.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    - Engage and manage multiple Executive Stakeholders effectively.
  • Vision and Roadmap Definition:
    - Articulate and communicate architectural and technological visions and roadmaps.
  • Technical Guidance:
    - Provide expert technical guidance in both functional and non-functional domains.
    - Advocate for new technologies and best practices.
