Job Title: Intermediate Teacher - LTO Assignment

We are seeking a qualified Intermediate Teacher to join our team at St. Mark Catholic Elementary School for a LTO (Long-Term Occasional) assignment.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Intermediate students and contributing to a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Education Degree and good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Qualifications appropriate to the position
  • Previous elementary teaching experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations, Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession, and Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession
  • Practicing Catholic with an active Catholic Faith life
  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of Ontario curriculum, evaluation, and assessment techniques
  • Current understanding of research, integrating technology, and best instructional practices
  • Effective classroom management skills and ability to create a welcoming and safe Catholic learning environment
