Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Tiny Hands Daycare Learning.

Job Summary

The Early Childhood Educator Assistant will assist our experienced educators in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children aged [insert age range].

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and implementing activities that promote children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Lead activities such as storytelling, singing, and outings to local points of interest.
  • Support children in developing good habits, including eating, dressing, and using the bathroom.
  • Prepare snacks and set up rooms for meals and rest periods.
  • Document children's progress and share observations with educators and supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and challenges.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Reliability, values, and ethics.
  • Ability to work 35 hours per week.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a child care centre with a team of experienced educators.
