Job Title: Physiotherapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Pure Life Physiotherapy & Health Centre.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist physiotherapists and occupational therapists in the rehabilitation of patients with various injuries or disabilities. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer tests and instruct patients on test procedures
  • Assess patients' physical abilities and develop treatment plans
  • Assist health care professionals with patient care and rehabilitation
  • Conduct research in physiotherapy and stay up-to-date with industry developments
  • Manage routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and booking appointments
  • Organize and maintain inventory of equipment and supplies
  • Perform general clerical duties, including processing claims and maintaining clinical and progress reports
  • Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients
  • Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
