Key Responsibilities- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
- Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification to ensure accuracy.
- Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, requiring attention to detail and precision.
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces, adhering to safety protocols.
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures, demonstrating problem-solving skills.
As a Cement Finisher, you will work in a fast-paced commercial and industrial setting, with exposure to dusty and noisy conditions. You will be required to work at heights and wear steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles.
Requirements- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the trade.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in a fast-paced environment.
- Dental plan and health care plan as per collective agreement.
- Other benefits as per collective agreement.
- Permanent employment with 37.5 hours per week.
