Job Description

Tiger Analytics is a cutting-edge analytics consulting firm that empowers Fortune 100 companies to extract business value from data.

We are seeking a seasoned Data Analyst with 4-5 years of hands-on experience in data analysis & data profiling in project, business requirements definition, or data engineering in CPG or Manufacturing Industry.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain data models: Represent data requirements in conceptual and logical data models and communicate effectively with data engineers.
  • Analyze business processes: Financial planning, budgeting, forecasts, Topline, OPEX, and COGS.
  • Design process models: System interface diagrams, workflow & swim lane diagrams, data flow diagrams.
  • Improve data quality: Defined expectations and perform system data analysis.
  • Identify patterns, exceptions, and erroneous data.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent skills and experience.
  • 4+ years of experience with data analysis & data profiling in project, business requirements definition, or data engineering in CPG or Manufacturing Industry. Profiling experience in SQL; Python/Pyspark is a plus.
  • 3+ years' work experience in the areas of Financial Planning and Analysis. Have working experience with Master Data (Product, Customer, Location, etc.).
  • 2+ years of strong Data Profiling experience & ability to identify trends and anomalies in the data to inform data model build out.
  • Familiarity with SAP data and IBM Planning Analytics tool is a plus.
