About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Processing Team Member to join our team at Goodwill Industries of Alberta. As a Processing Team Member, you will play a critical role in sorting and grading donations, identifying high-end and designer quality items, and ensuring our retail stores are well-stocked and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and grade donations to determine what is sellable
  • Identify high-end and designer quality donations for special pricing
  • Track production targets and complete production sheets as per SOPs
  • Transport items to and from the sales floor and place on shelves, bins, or racks
  • Tidy shelves, racks, bins, or displays and remove stock that is being rotated as needed
  • Assist Retail team members at cash registers with wrapping or bagging merchandise for customers
  • Provide world-class customer service to all Goodwill customers

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum age of 15 or older
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to perform physical work on a continual basis
  • Knowledge of designer labels, collectibles, and antiques (a strong asset but not a deal-breaker)
