Job Overview:

The Centre for Skills Development is seeking an experienced Accounting Services Coordinator to join their team. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and software to maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage.
  2. Perform account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
  3. Prepare payroll and ensure timely payment to employees while adhering to legal requirements.
  4. Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
  5. Monitor cash flow and forecast financial trends.
  6. Prepare personal/corporation tax returns and assist as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • One year of experience in bookkeeping and QuickBooks.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) is required.
  • Strong knowledge of account reconciliation, payroll processing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
