Job Title: Kitchen Helper

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team at Thai Delicious. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be responsible for assisting our kitchen staff with food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Help with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
  • Restock refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards with food and supplies.
  • Assist with loading and unloading dishes, glassware, and flatware from dishwashers and storage areas.
  • Help with cleaning and sanitizing the dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors.
  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies and ingredients.
  • Help with removing kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen staff.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
Working Conditions:

The kitchen environment can be physically demanding and requires standing for extended periods. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).

Language:

The primary language of communication in the kitchen is English.
