Assets Protection RoleThe Assets Protection team plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests and team members. As a Security Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting sales by welcoming and engaging guests and team members at the front of store
- Leading a physical security culture by assessing and maintaining safe and secure standards throughout the store, including exterior property
- Responding to and accurately documenting security incidents
- Conducting productive merchandise recoveries and providing apprehension support as needed
- Preventing theft and shortage at the front of store by performing receipt checks for exposed high-dollar merchandise
- Submitting appropriate documentation in the system for all incidents following AP policy and procedures
- Understanding and appropriately using the video system
- Modeling working safely while maintaining a clean store for guests and team members
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age or older
- Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position
- Be able to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)
