Job DescriptionAs a Registered Nurse in our medical team at Penticton Regional Hospital, you will practice in a variety of clinical settings, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating client care. You will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to deliver client-centered care and ensure individual clients and their families respond to changing healthcare needs.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must have graduation from an approved School of Nursing and current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
About This Location/UnitPenticton Regional Hospital acts as a referral centre to three community hospitals and one diagnostic centre in the South Okanagan. It has an operating capacity of 158 acute beds and 102 extended care beds, providing a full range of services except for open heart surgery, neuro surgery, and recent spinal cord injury care.
The Level 5 unit where you will be working is a 28-bed unit that mainly cares for medical patients with occasional surgical cases. The team is supportive and excited to welcome students, striving to provide a positive learning experience.
