Job Summary

Elite Brothers Transportation Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Logistics and Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo through tarping and other measures.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Work Environment: Willing to travel for extended periods, including overnight trips, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with truck driving.
