About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced S&C Lead Maintainer to join our team at Siemens Mobility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and assistance to S&C Maintainers, S&C Signalmen, and S&C Apprentices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of S&C Maintainers and junior employees in a high-density CTC environment
  • Provide technical guidance and assistance on S&C systems, including reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to ensure the reliability and efficiency of S&C systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues
  • Conduct thorough troubleshooting and root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of CTC Signal Systems, road crossing warning system technologies, and wayside inspection systems
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in S&C maintenance
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in railway signals maintenance in a high-density CTC environment
  • Extensive knowledge of S&C Standard Code of Practice and General Instructions
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of CTC Signal Systems, road crossing warning system technologies, and wayside inspection systems
  • CROR qualification
  • Thorough troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience
  • Ability to teach, mentor, and assist S&C Maintainers and junior employees
  • Strong organization skills, primarily for work and materials inventory
  • Ability to perform a variety of physical tasks, including lifting and moving loads of approximately 50 lbs
  • Valid driver's license required
