Job Title: Press Operator Team Leader

Marwood International Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Press Operator Team Leader to join our team in Tillsonburg, ON.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of press operators, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of stamping and press equipment, and maintaining high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of press operators to achieve production goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and protocols
  • Coordinate training and development programs for team members
  • Monitor and report on production performance, identifying areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues and implement process improvements
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of production data and metrics
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, and safety
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive business growth and excellence

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in stamping and press operations, with a strong background in leadership and team management
  • Grade 12 or GED, with a focus on technical skills and knowledge
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
