Construction Labourer – Barrhaven Landscaping

Barrhaven Landscaping & Snow Removal is seeking a reliable Construction Labourer to join our team. This permanent position requires 40 hours of work per week and a secondary school graduation certificate. The job involves working outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces, with exposure to dust, cold, and danger. If you have 1-2 years of experience and are physically fit, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
  • Assist the medical examiner in charge.
  • Participate in the demolition of buildings.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Remove rubble and debris from construction sites.

Equipment and Machinery Experience:

  • Experience in operating Bobcats, curbing machines, reciprocating saws, concrete saws, chippers, air compressors, and other heavy machinery.

Security and Safety:

  • Pass a criminal record check.
  • Pass a driving record check.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Work under tight deadlines.
  • Maintain manual dexterity.
  • Perform repetitive tasks.
  • Handle heavy loads.

  • Ability to lift over 45 kg (100 lbs).
