Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at 87666 NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR INC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and efficiently.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a safe and clean workspace.
  • Prepare vegetables and fruit for cooking by washing, peeling, and cutting them.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a kitchen environment is an asset.
  • Ability to work 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
