Join Tiercon as a Project Engineer - Automotive Exterior Trim

Tiercon is a leading automotive supplier committed to delivering high-quality exterior trim and assembled systems to the automotive market. Our Stoney Creek facility is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage projects from design to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality systems, including ISO9001:2015 and IATF 16949.
  • Provide program leadership and customer interface, including APQP meetings and trial execution.
  • Accountable for executing CMM/Gauge fixtures and responsible for packaging (WIP and F/G).
  • Assist and maintain business documents, including BOM, VSM, Asset Tracking, and Balance Sheet.
  • Participate in upfront inputs in design analysis and costing, and lead or assist special projects and continuous improvement.
  • Participate with other departments in identifying, analyzing, and implementing corrective actions to non-conformances or production/quality problems.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree/diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience in project management, technical writing, and APQP.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in automotive production environment, with knowledge of injection moulding, painting, stamping, and roll form and assembly processes.
  • Experience in program launches, JIT sequencing, and new product cost estimating is an asset.
