Job Title: Grocery Clerk

At Metro, we're committed to providing an exceptional customer experience. As a Grocery Clerk, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our shelves are always stocked and our customers are satisfied.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Restock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately
  • Assist with inventory management and maintain accurate records
  • Work collaboratively with the grocery team to achieve sales goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods
