Job Title: Industrial Mechanic

Récupération Frontenac Inc is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our team. As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment and machinery.

Work Environment

The work environment is noisy, with odours, confined spaces, and dusty conditions. You will be working with machinery installation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul, as well as performing routine maintenance work on machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in industrial equipment and machinery
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts
  • Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
  • Install machinery and equipment
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Ability to work in a noisy, odorous, and dusty environment
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
