Job Description

We are seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Résidence Aux Douces Marées inc. in a permanent position. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support our residents in their daily lives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in exercise routines and activities designed to promote physical and mental health.
Requirements
  • Diploma or certificate in a related field, such as continuing care assistance or nursing.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a long-term care facility.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including dental, health, and vision coverage, as well as group insurance and life insurance.

Work Environment
