Job Title: UX Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled UX Designer to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a UX Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience for our clients and delivering innovative design solutions.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity for a UX Designer to work on a 12-month contract and contribute to the strategic direction of design initiatives. The role offers a hybrid work model, with the requirement to be onsite in Toronto twice a week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate conceptual ideas into engaging, user-centered experiences.
  • Contribute to the strategic experience design approach for various projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and iterate on prototypes using techniques such as sketching, wireframing, and creating interactive prototypes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of user experience across web and mobile platforms.
  • Communicate design ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, integrating feedback constructively.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail while working within timelines and delivering high-quality work.
Requirements:
  • A degree in design or a related discipline.
  • Experience in the banking industry.
  • Strong ability to translate complex concepts into effective and engaging customer experiences.
  • Proven experience in prototyping using sketching, paper, wireframes, video, or interactive tools.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Axure, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A solid understanding of web and mobile technologies.
  • Excellent organization, logic, and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to ask insightful questions and explain complex ideas clearly.
  • Ability to communicate and present design concepts to diverse audiences and integrate feedback effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with UX research methods and an understanding of human-centered design principles is a plus.
