Job Title: Pharmacy Supply Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Pharmacy Supply Assistant to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart #2216. As a Pharmacy Supply Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of prescription information, maintaining inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products, and preparing medications for clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accuracy of prescription information
  • Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products
  • Prepare medications for clients
  • Compound, package and label pharmaceutical products
  • Bill third party insurers
  • Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams
  • Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products
  • Maintain supplies
  • Perform general clerical duties
  • Organize and maintain inventory

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Will train
  • Work setting: Pharmacy or drugstore
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks, work under pressure, attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination, standing for extended periods, walking
  • Personal suitability: Accurate, dependability, excellent oral communication, judgement, organized, team player
