Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Assistant II to join our team at Lawtons. As a Pharmacy Assistant II, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations, ensuring the smooth delivery of patient care, and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prescription assembly and data entry
  • Process customer transactions, including receiving and releasing prescriptions
  • Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
  • Promote PROfile programs
  • Compounding and pill pack assembly
  • Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, and cleaning
  • Drug order creation and receiving
  • Schedule professional clinical services, including medication reviews, health risk assessments, and disease state management
  • Manage BTC and administrative duties, including cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML's, and manual third parties
  • Assist with other pharmacy operations as required

Requirements

  • Preferred: Undergraduate degree, Pharmacy Technology Certificate, or other Pharmacy Recognized program
  • Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
