Job Title: Senior IT Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Architect to join our team at Cyber Crime. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the overall IT architecture, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain high-level design plans for IT architecture, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
  • Provide technical leadership and consulting across the organization, from strategic decision-making to project planning and execution.
  • Lead and spearhead major projects as assigned, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Architect, implement, and manage LAN, WAN, and WIFI infrastructure, including switches, security appliances, subnets, VLANS, and routing.
  • Architect, implement, and manage operating systems, end-user software, virtualized environments, and server infrastructure.
  • Design, configure, implement, and manage Office 365, Asure, and AD Administration, including Group Policies, Security Groups, User accounts, and Logon scripts.
  • Provide Tier 2 & 3 support as an escalation point for IT peers, design, configure, implement, and manage scripts to streamline and error-proof level 1 helpdesk tasks.
  • Manage escalation to third-party support organizations.
  • Architect, implement, and manage email systems, ACLs, phone systems, surveillance systems, SANs, VLANs, WAN, LANs, WIFI, firewalls, Routers, DNS, Hosts, virtual infrastructure, and plant automation infrastructure.
Requirements:
  • Minimum post-secondary education in Computer Science preferred.
  • Minimum eight years' experience as a technical consultant or architect, some within a consulting agency or managed services organization.
  • Certifications Required: any of the following certification will be considered an asset: PMP, CCNA, ITIL 2011 Foundation, VMware vSphere: Install, configure, Manager [V5.5] training, CISSP, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Net+, MCP, MCSA or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Visio, Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook); MS Active Directory, Office365 administration, asset Cisco CLI, or Meraki.
  • Specialized Skills: Change Management, Server Optimization, Virtualization, Network Architecture, IT Architecture, Cybersecurity, Technical Business Analysis.
