Job Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Fleet Engineer to join our team at KF Aerospace. As a key member of our Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) Program, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuing airworthiness of our aircraft fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement airworthiness clearance plans in collaboration with the FAcT Head of Engineering and other stakeholders.
  • Manage the military Release to Service (RTS) process for our aircraft fleet, coordinating with the SkyAlyne FAcT team, OEMs, and the DND Airworthiness Regulator.
  • Lead the development of the Engineering Process Manual (EPM) for the FAcT ATO and ensure its implementation.
  • Coordinate with the Integrated Test Team (ITT) to develop and execute the Aircraft Integrated Test Program (AITP).
  • Support the development of contract deliverables and assist with aircraft acquisition and acceptance activities.
In-Service Phase
  • Execute Type Certificate Holder responsibilities, including granting Technical Airworthiness Clearance and managing the Design Support Network.
  • Track and manage fleet technical and airworthiness issues through to resolution, involving the AMO, SDE, KF Aerospace ADO, TAA, and OAA as appropriate.
  • Provide required reports to the SDE, including In-Service Monitoring, annual airworthiness reports, and service difficulties.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering (applicable discipline) or equivalent knowledge or experience.
  • Minimum seven years of experience in the technical support of aircraft in a live flying operation.
  • Previous experience working within the DND Airworthiness Program is considered an asset.
