About the Role

We are seeking an Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Magic Years Child Care Centre. This is a permanent position, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining daycare equipment, assisting in carrying out programs that promote child development, engaging children in activities, and guiding them in daily routines. They will also prepare snacks, arrange rooms, and attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of daycare facilities and equipment;
  • Assist in planning and implementing educational programs for children aged 0-5 years;
  • Engage children in various activities, including storytelling, singing, and crafting;
  • Guide children in developing good habits, such as eating, dressing, and toilet use;
  • Prepare healthy snacks and meals for children;
  • Assist with setup and supervision of rest periods and meal times;
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and challenges faced by children;
Requirements
  • Certificate of Secondary (High) School Graduation;
  • At least 2 years of experience working with children in a childcare setting;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information;
