Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at AECOM. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical power systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical power systems for buildings and infrastructure projects
  • Conduct site visits to assess electrical systems and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems meet project requirements
  • Develop and implement electrical design standards and guidelines
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering design and development
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer or EIT
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including CEC, NECB, and IEEE
  • Experience with electrical design software, such as AGi32 and SKM
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering design and development
  • Experience with Revit and AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of LEED and other industry standards and codes
