Senior Survey Project Manager - RPLS

Halff is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Survey Project Manager to join our team in San Antonio, McAllen, or Brownsville, TX. As a Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, developing scopes of work, schedules, and fees. You will also lead the preparation of proposals and support business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects, including developing scope of work, schedule, and fee.
  • Lead the preparation of proposals and support business development efforts.
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements:
  • Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor License (RPLS).
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated management experience as a Licensed Surveyor.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and mentor Survey Technicians.
  • Ability to successfully manage projects of all sizes and levels of complexity.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience with DOT or Land Development projects.
  • Technical understanding with Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D or Openroads MicroStation.
  • Experience with various municipalities in San Antonio, McAllen, or Brownsville area.
