Key Responsibilities
  • Train or arrange for training of truck drivers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure seamless operation of the transportation department.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Recommend personnel actions such as promotions, demotions, or disciplinary measures.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support the transportation operations.
Supervision
  • Directly supervise truck drivers to ensure they are performing their duties efficiently and effectively.
  • Work Term: Permanent position with opportunities for career advancement.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the transportation industry.
