Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at MedSavvy Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Workflow: Assist with scheduling and workflow to ensure efficient operation of the pharmacy.
  • Third-Party Billing: Bill third-party insurers for patient services.
  • Claims Processing: Process claims for health insurance and workers' compensation.
  • Supply Management: Maintain supplies and inventory to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Inventory Organization: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate tracking and ordering.
  • Healthcare Support: Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and administrative tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of an other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a pharmacy or related field.
  • Work Setting: Pharmacy or drugstore environment.
