At Fed Supply, a leading employment agency specializing in supply chain, logistics, transportation, and customer service, we are seeking a talented Logistics Operations Manager to join our team in the Greater Montreal area.

As a Logistics Operations Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the management team in planning and organizing the daily operations of the department. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Operational Analysis and Optimization: Assess field operations, define priorities, and allocate team members according to shift operational needs.
  2. Productivity Enhancement: Ensure team operational productivity and support team members in achieving performance objectives.
  3. Safety and Compliance: Promote OHS standards and ensure a safe working environment for the team.
  4. Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Ensure that equipment inspections are carried out by workers and that mechanical problems are resolved promptly.
  5. Training and Development: Identify distributor training needs and propose opportunities for improvement.
  6. Pallet Management: Ensure that all pallets sent for distribution are scanned.
  7. Error Analysis and Reporting: Analyze distribution error reports and pass on information to the appropriate people.
  8. Coordination and Collaboration: Collaborate with the central aisle department to ensure pallets are distributed according to the FIFO method.
  9. Pallet Truck Management: Coordinate the use of pallet trucks.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A college diploma in administration, supply chain, operations management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to coordinate several activities at the same time and to manage priorities.
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Organized, rigorous, and great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

The estimated salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
