Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at Apexon. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and developing the build, release, and deploy toolchain for DevOps.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interface with software developers, product managers, test engineers, and administrators to design and develop the build, release, and deploy toolchain for DevOps.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues quickly and effectively, sometimes under pressure.
  • Develop and maintain high availability engineering, performance tuning, and automation/tools development.
  • Work with management to set priorities and track operational metrics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in systems engineering and DevOps role.
  • Strong ability to architect development toolchains and cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux systems and internals.
  • Experience in creating software to automate production systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure or hybrid environments.
  • Experience with container technology, including Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience with provisioning infrastructure through IAC and cloud automation principles.
  • Good understanding of networking and related protocols.
  • Proficiency with source control, continuous integration, and configuration management.
