Sales and Business Development

As an exclusive Financial Advisor for Co-operators, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients and cultivating long-term business opportunities. You will work closely with community members to identify their financial security needs and provide tailored solutions using our innovative technology and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect new clients and conduct reviews to empower them to make informed decisions.
  • Cultivate strong ties to the community to enhance agency visibility and maximize new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute business plans to support sales and growth goals.
  • Manage your team's performance and facilitate their development.
  • Maintain required licenses, ensure ethical behavior, and comply with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • You must have 3-5 years of management experience in the insurance industry or related field.
  • You should hold a Life license and a General Insurance license, with a Mutual Funds license as an asset.
  • A post-secondary education in a related field is preferred.
  • Completing or working towards one of the following professional designations: CFP, CLU, CHFC or accredited Financial Planning Designation is beneficial.
