AURAY is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager in Metallurgy to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the success of assigned projects from planning to monitoring and invoicing. Your expertise in metallurgy and project management will ensure the efficient completion of engineering projects while respecting deadlines, budgets, and quality and safety standards. **Responsibilities:**

* Responsible for the success of assigned projects from planning to monitoring and invoicing.
* Control the quality of the work carried out by inspectors in visual and non-destructive testing.
* Monitor work in the manufacturing workshop and on the site.
* Verify the manufacturing and assembly of steel structures by visual inspection and non-destructive testing.
* Validate and compile the results of tests carried out on site and in the laboratory (subcontracting or others).
* Check the certificates of conformity provided by the contractor to ensure that they comply with the plans and specifications.
* Write and approve technical reports.
* Inform customers and superiors of the progress of the work and maintain excellent customer service.
* Participate in project meetings.
* Produce quantity statements and participate in budget estimations.
* Contribute to the verification and production of tender documents quotes and other technical documents.
* Establish and maintain contacts with customers to define their needs present technical information concepts or the results of studies depending on competencies.

**Requirements:**

* Bachelors degree in metallurgical or mechanical engineering.
* Be a member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
* Have a minimum experience of ten years in engineering.
* Hold a CSA W178.2 level 2 visual inspector certification.
* Have experience monitoring the manufacturing of metal structures and workshop painting.
