Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at TownePlace Suites by Marriott West Kelowna. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate inventory management.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Manage records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet guest demands.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
