About the Role

CMT Mechanical LTD is seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our mechanical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tool and Equipment Management: Safely move and store tools, equipment, and other materials to support our mechanical operations.
  • Surveying Support: Assist surveying activities by holding stakes and ensuring the safety of our team and the public.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public, and provide support to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Possess an Other trades certificate or diploma, with experience an asset.
  • Transportation and Travel: Hold a valid driver's licence and be willing to relocate for this position.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Be able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling.
