We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Member Experience Specialist to join our team at Prospera Credit Union. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing strong relationships with our members and providing exceptional service to help them achieve their financial goals.

About the Role:

  • Onboard and initiate relationships with new members, providing personalized advice and guidance to help them achieve their financial objectives.
  • Develop and advance member relationships through the utilization of Financial Health Checks, pipeline management, and effective referrals to the Relationship Manager and Line of Business Specialists.
  • Have primary responsibility for opening new business accounts and business change of signing officer requests.
  • Support member access to lending products by producing small unsecured lending products, completing broker mortgage sign-ups and mortgage renewals.
  • Support Member Service Specialists by completing front-line transactions as needed.
  • Provide omni-channel support for the Member Service Centre by supporting member calls as needed.

What You'll Bring:

  • Grade 12 (or equivalent)
  • Business Administration or Marketing diploma or degree (an asset)
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a financial services environment with exposure to lending and investment products, identifying member needs, advising
  • Experience or knowledge with mutual funds (preferred)
  • Licensed to sell mutual funds or the willingness to be licensed within 12 months
  • Previous experience working in a professional sales environment
  • Proven financial acumen and knowledge of financial products, services, and retail lending
  • Demonstrated ability to confidently provide advice in a variety of member situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage priorities
  • Proficient with technology and systems
