Manual Machinist

We are seeking an experienced technical machinist to join our team. As a manual machinist, you will be responsible for performing machining tasks on various products using manual lathe and milling machines.
Key Responsibilities- Calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematical knowledge and instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- Perform machining of regular size parts and large diameter parts to standard specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, boring, and grinders.
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
- Review sample parts, blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Basic machining experience, including use of mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses.
- High school diploma or equivalent technical training.
- At least 3 years' experience interpreting basic mechanical drawings.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
- Able to follow basic health and safety procedures and protocols.
- Day shift (7:30am-4pm)
