About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Citizen Services Officer to join our team at Service Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Respond to client inquiries and provide information on government programs and services.
  • Program Administration: Assist with the administration of government programs, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Community Outreach: Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to promote government programs and services.
  • Communication: Develop and disseminate communication materials, including reports and presentations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a customer service or administrative role.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Windows.
  • Security and Safety: Enhanced reliability security clearance.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, judgement, dependability, and analytical skills.
