Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Repair Specialist to join our team at Midas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance tasks on vehicles. This includes:
- Diagnostics: Using state-of-the-art computer systems to diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues.
- Tire and Wheel Services: Repairing and replacing tires, as well as performing wheel alignments.
- Brake and Suspension Services: Repairing and replacing brake systems, as well as performing suspension repairs.
- Engine and Cooling Services: Repairing and replacing engine components, as well as performing cooling system repairs.
- Electrical and Electronics Services: Repairing and replacing electrical and electronic components, including batteries and starters.
- Exhaust and Emissions Services: Repairing and replacing exhaust systems, as well as performing emissions testing.
- Visual Safety and Courtesy Inspections: Conducting thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential safety issues and provide recommendations for repairs.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in automotive repair, with a strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostics.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental standards for repair facilities.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with other team members.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Provincial Certificate of Qualification in the province of Ontario.
- Own tools and equipment, including a diagnostic scanner and other necessary tools.
- Ability to service both import and domestic vehicles.
Compensation
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $35.00 per hour.
