About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Allwood Quality Kitchens Ltd. as a Warehouse Supervisor.

Job Summary

This is a full-time permanent position that requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising daily warehouse operations, ensuring smooth and efficient material handling, storage, and shipping processes.

You will be working closely with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and products, and providing technical guidance and support to warehouse staff. Your strong leadership skills and ability to maintain a safe and productive work environment will be essential in achieving our operational goals.

Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless workflow and minimize disruptions.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse performance, including inventory levels, stock movements, and any issues or concerns.
  • Evaluate and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and training to warehouse staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Establish and maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other warehouse activities.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of 3-4 staff members, providing guidance, support, and direction as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • At least 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and external partners.
  • A collaborative and flexible approach, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
