Job Title – Tracer Specialist

Department: Operations

Reports to: District Manager

Employment Classification: Contractor

Job Summary:

The Tracer Specialist is primarily responsible for collaborating with the Operations team to ensure the proper placement of tracer material. This position will be required to train and develop the Tracer line, ensuring its optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with Operations and Sales teams to verify job schedules and report any issues.
  • Ensure pre-job planning with accurate chemical types and volumes for each job.
  • Provide customers with technical product support related to tracer services.
  • Accurately complete all required reports and forward them to the appropriate personnel for execution.
  • Comply with daily procedures when performing operations involving equipment.
  • Be responsible for all assigned materials and equipment.
  • Maintain all service equipment and rental tools.
  • Deliver products to customers as needed.
  • Conduct in-house training for field employees, contractors, and NCS representatives.
  • Organize and complete evaluations on specified field representatives.
  • Help promote safe work practices and higher standards of performance.
  • Support and uphold HS&E policies and procedures of NCS and the customer.
  • Align individual goals with NCS's corporate goals, while adhering to and promoting the NCS Promise.
  • Participate in Personal Development for Success (PDS).
  • Perform other duties relevant to the position as required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of direct industry-related experience.
  • Industry-related experience, preferably in coiled tubing, fracturing, or downhole tool operations.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Ability to work with other teams and exhibit effective communication.
  • High level of efficiency and work ethic, with specific attention to details.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations.
  • Ability to move or lift 25lbs – 50lbs.
  • Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
